Acola Kids is an Ofsted registered nursery providing childcare services for children aged between 3 months old and 5 years old. Our aim is to provide a happy, calm and secure space that is stimulating and engaging, a space where children can be guided through development at a pace tailored to them with the help and support of our qualified team.
Our nursery is divided into three age groups which enable us to target all learning and development areas ( EYFS ) according to your child’s age and abilities.
Choosing the right nursery is essential for the development of children in this age group, because they absorb and achieve more than any other stage in their school lives. We focus on creating memories, amazing learning experiences, and close relationships with parents while aiming to unlock children’s full potential.
We have 3 sessions to choose from:
∼Morning sessions from 07:30 to 13:00
∼Afternoon sessions from 13:00 to 18:30
∼Full day sessions from 07:30 to 18:30
We understand how a child’s development is important for all those who work in early years. Practitioners here have developed an understanding of the implications of children’s developmental processes in order to meet individual needs. The key to this understanding is the development of skills in observing children and interpreting those observations.
Our child centred approach promotes the development of individuality, creativity and self-confidence through working in partnership with parents to provide the highest level and standards of nursery care allowing us to help the children with their transitions from nursery to school. At Acola Kids we ensure that the framework for the EYFS is met through our daily activities whilst having lots of fun and gaining skills. We provide a home like nursery making sure the children are comfortable, relaxed and have plenty of cuddles on hand for when they need them.
A holistic approach to child development seeks to simultaneously address the physical, emotional, relational, intellectual, and spiritual aspects of a child’s life. The importance of the Holistic Approach is that the Child learns different things at different stages including walking, talking and fine motor skills. Holistic development is the overall development of all areas of development in children.
